Marcy still feels very tired. Trach secretions are a little more than normal, but she is still not needing much suctioning - even after being off antibiotics this long. Dr. Allison, his wife Rita, and daughter Sierra came to the house last night and did the Bax 3000 treatment.
Kara was here yesterday. She and Marcy marked items for the Encores and More consignment sale. Our friend Peter and his wife Ruth brought more items to mark and visited for a little while. And our friend Carol dropped off more items last night.
Lesley made more calls yesterday and secured gift certificates from Moody's Tire & Auto and Red Lobster for Marcy's Ice Cream Bowl.
While Kara was here, I took Darcy to the mall to get a birthday gift for a friend's party Friday. We got home as Matt was getting home from work and he took us to pick up Darcy's car - it is fixed and running great. But on our way to the mall, Marcy's van overheated twice - and once on the way home. Darcy drove us to AutoZone to buy a thermostat - Garland and I plan to install it today. From AutoZone Darcy and I picked up prescriptions for Marcy and it was time for Kara to go home.
After dropping us at the repair shop, Matt went rock climbing, was home for supper, then out with friends until 11:15.
Daily Prayer for Marcy: God's continued healing manifestation. Total relief from pain and discomfort.
Still lots of openings in June's Dinner Calendar.
