Marcy's Daily Updates

Marcy is still very, very tired. Dr. Allison and his wife Rita came to the house last night and did the Bax 3000 treatment. They could not have been nicer and we prayed together before starting. It is the first of 25 scheduled treatments. The treatment itself only took 4 minutes, set up took about 30, but that should improve. They plan to come back again tonight. Marcy didn't feel any change from the treatment.

Kara was here yesterday. I washed Marcy's hair and Kara styled it before starting to mark items for the Encores and More consignment sale. Two friends are bringing more items for marking today.

Lesley (the publicist we met Saturday) has been making some phone calls for us and yesterday secured a gift certificate from Miss Kitty's Bed & Bath for Marcy's Ice Cream Bowl.

Carolyn from the Medicaid waiver program came for her monthly visit yesterday to make sure things are going well. After that meeting Darcy and I went to Wal-Mart and Costco for juicing ingredients and other perishables. We came home to unload then went to Garland & Gretel's pool for about an hour before Kara's time to leave. I got in the pool with Darcy and we just hung out together.

Matt worked 8a-3:30p, went out with friends, was home for dinner, then back out with friends. He went to a midnight movie last night. He wasn't home when we went to sleep at 1a and I didn't wake when he came in, but he was up and out on time this morning for work at 8.

Daily Prayer for Marcy: God's continued healing manifestation. Total relief from pain and discomfort.
