Marcy's Daily Updates

Marcy still feels bad but didn't need much suctioning last night. Last night she blinked that her body can't take any more antibiotics. Earlier yesterday I had asked her the same thing: Are they making her sick now? She asked me to stop - they were set to end tomorrow anyway and she already extended them from the original prescription.

Kara was here yesterday. She and Marcy marked items for the Encores and More consignment sale.

Matt woke about noon (after getting in from Bonnaroo about 4:45 yesterday morning) and gave us a topline recap: he had a great time and told us all the bands he saw. He said that strangers would stop and talk to them in camp as they passed through on the way to see shows. Everyone was very nice and laid back.

Then Matt helped me with Darcy's car. Darcy and I dropped it off at a shop Thursday. They called late Friday to say it was overheating on them and they wanted $700 to put in a new water pump. I talked to Garland yesterday morning and he recommended taking to another shop that specializes in Volkswagens. Yesterday afternoon Matt took me to the first shop and followed me to another shop. Sure enough, it was overheating. We had to stop several times in the 4 mile drive to keep from burning up the engine. We haven't heard from the second shop.

After getting home, I rode to Wal-Mart and Costco for juicing supplies and perishables. I made it home in time to walk the dogs before Kara had to leave.

Darcy was home all day yesterday drawing, watching videos, and texting.

Daily Prayer for Marcy: Her body recovers quickly from antibiotics. God's continued healing manifestation. Total relief from pain and discomfort.
