We are going to try to be more consistent with our email updates. One thing that may help is MyEmma - our new email service. They are helping make it easier on me to send. Check them out at MyEmma.com, especially if you send emails to a large group regularly. They are very good and very nice.

Marcy is feeling about the same. She still gets out about once a week and even went out in our backyard one day this month to see the garden we planted. |
We are still waiting on lab results to justify insurance funding for the new antifungal medicine. Dr. Reid called 4/14 to say he found someone who would use a Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer (mass spec) to test her blood for mycotoxins. If positive, supposedly this will prove his theory, we will get insurance to pay for new (expensive) antifungal medicines, and be able to measure the efficacy of any new antifungal medical treatments, making it easier to know what is helping Marcy get better. Blood was drawn for this test 4/18. So we wait.
The response to last month's email requesting help with our new $2,400 monthly deficit was a true blessing and helped us through the month. We are trying to think of ways to keep from having to ask for money each month and want to ask you to try these:

Shopping for gifts for Mother's Day? Father's Day? Graduation? Wedding?
Promofundraising.com has great gift ideas and offers fundraising organizations a way to generate revenue just by asking friends to buy things online that they were already planning to buy. They give the organization (us) up to $30 per promotional purchase. Some of todays featured promotions are a Blockbuster video membership, Serius satellite radio service, "As Seen on TV" items, and more. Click here, find something you were going to buy anyway, buy it here, and we get cash!
And, if you need to raise funds for school, scouts, or church and open an account through the link above, we'll get a referral fee. |
And we still participate in iGive, where dozens of online retailers offer us up to 26% rebates on every purchase. They even give us $5 just for your joining. Just click here to get started. |

And some friends of ours are turning their concert/drama production into a fundraiser for us:
 |
Paul and Mona are producing the concert drama “The Hole in the Fence” – an intriguing true story of a fourteen-year-old girl’s escape from a Siberian labor camp during the Stalin years. It is a great story for the whole family, musically weaving together multiple twists and turns as exiled Russians and escaping Jews are caught in a web of frigid temperatures, Nazi soldiers, famine, and romance. They are producing the stage show to film it for broadcast on national television.
Performances will be at Otter Creek Church of Christ, 409 Franklin Road, Brentwood, TN, May 4, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. and May 5, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free. And here’s the bonus blessing: Paul and Mona are taking a collection for us at each performance. We plan to go to the 5/5 3:00 p.m. performance. |
We bought a motor home in 2002 for medical transport as we were looking for non traditional medical treatments outside of Nashville. We have only used it on 4 or 5 trips and Marcy hasn't felt up to a trip for a few years now.
We believe Marcy will get better and we'll want the motor home to travel to give our testimony, but as we wait, it costs us money. We would like to sell shares in a shared ownership arrangment - like a time shared vacation home. If buying or renting an RV is something you have thought about, click here for more info. |

We are also selling the tow dolly. It has very few miles on it, is in excellent condition, and comes with lights and electric brakes. If you know someone who could use one of these, please forward this to them. It looks like they are selling for about $750 on eBay. Click here for more info. |
Matt continues to work and prepare for college next year.
We (me, Marcy, Cricket, Matt, and Darcy) went as a family to Shogun for Matt's 18th birthday dinner and had a great time.

Darcy continues to grow as well - and still baby sitting. A few weeks ago she used some of her own money to help us buy an inflatable water slide.
Marcy also asked me to include in this email sizes for summer clothes for Darcy:
| Shorts, Capri pants, and jeans |
size 14-16 (depending on the cut |
| Tops |
adult size small |

We continue to get positive feedback from my weekly column in the Tennessean. If you missed them and want to read them, here are links to the Tennessean site for ones written since our last email:
3/30 Troy's continued computer giving.
4/6 Eggsactly what we needed.
4/13 Leaky Pride.
4/20 The Show.
We have been and continue to be very blessed. Thank you for thinking of us and praying for us - it is how we make it. Please forward this email to friends, especially if you think we might be able to help them in any way. Donations can still be sent to 2051 Harvington Drive, Franklin, TN, 37069.
We continue to believe God is going to totally restore Marcy. We continually thank God for your prayer and care.
Love.
