Pray the Word

Marcy's Healing Bible Verse Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving us.

John 3

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[1] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

you tell us in John 14 that whatever we ask in your name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father, you will do it. We are asking for more physical manifestation of your healing Marcy. We ask for (specific prayer request: today's manifestation.)

John 14

13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

We know that by your stripes we are healed and we have claimed that healing for your child Marcy.

Isaiah 53

4Surely He has borne our griefs

        And carried our sorrows;

        Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

        Smitten by God, and afflicted.

        5But He was wounded for our transgressions,

        He was bruised for our iniquities;

        The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

        And by His stripes we are healed.

She chooses life that she and her descendants may live.

Deuteronomy 30

19I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."

She knows that she will not die, but live, and declare your works.

Psalm 118

17I shall not die, but live,

        And declare the works of the LORD.

We ask that you continue to strengthen her, help her, uphold her with your righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41

10Fear not, for I am with you;

        Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

        I will strengthen you,

        Yes, I will help you,

        I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

You tell us in Matthew 18 that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. In Your precious name we bind the elements working against Marcy's body and we loose your healing power in every cell.

Matthew 18

18"Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19"Again I say[1] to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

We have faith. We do not doubt. We ask in the name of Jesus that all physical and spiritual elements working against Marcy's body be cast into the sea.

Matthew 21

21So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done.

As promised in Romans 8, we ask that you continue to give this mortal body life through your Spirit dwelling inside.

Romans 8

2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

11But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

We put on the whole armor of God so that we may fight the principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness of this age. We stand with you.

Ephesians 6

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[1] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

We try not to be anxious, but ask these things with thanksgiving for all you've already done for us.

Philippians 4

6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We remember you have given us a spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1

7For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

And that you are faithful in your promise.

Hebrews 10

23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Lord, we pray this prayer of faith so that you will raise Marcy up.

James 5

14Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16Confess your trespasses[1] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

We know that You hear us and grant our petition.

1 John 5

Confidence and Compassion in Prayer

14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

And we thank you for that, we thank you for all that you have given us. In your precious name we pray. Amen.
